BIOCELLA®; a Cosmeceutical Skin Care Line Based on Medical Concepts
Recognizing the need for skin care products to help maintain youthful complexions and post-operative cosmetic results, BIOCELLA® was founded in August 2003 and is headquartered in Windsor, Ontario. BIOCELLA® offers skin care products specifically formulated to address skin conditions such as acne and hyperpigmentation, eye care products, and anti-aging formulas to manage fine lines and wrinkles associated with aging.
BIOCELLA®’s goal is to continuously develop innovative clinical treatments and skin care products with high efficacy. To that end, BIOCELLA® has established a close relationship with researchers in the areas of cellular and molecular biology, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and medical estheticians. Our researchers’ comprehensive understanding of the biochemistry of our products and their active ingredients is very much complemented by our collaborative physicians’ in-depth understanding of human skin’s biology and our products’ application to human aesthetics and therapy.
To reach its goal, the company has dedicated a considerable budget to research and development to formulate its current cosmeceutical line based on biomedical principles. Capitalizing on science and technology, some of company’s innovative projects have been supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) as well as the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE).
Empowered by scientific research and creative vision, BIOCELLA®’s products employ unique combinations of plant-based extracts, peptides, and bioactive compounds. Our innovative formulations are very efficacious with a contemporary feel and uniqueness.
